The Reach Vagamon opened in August 2026 — our first property outside Kochi, and the first with a kitchen of our own. Twenty-eight units across three ways to stay: a Suite for two, a 2BHK Villa for the family, and an A-Frame Loft with a mezzanine bed under the pitch of the roof. Breakfast is included in every rate. A restaurant serving breakfast, a pool, a games room, and halls for the events people come to the hills to hold.

Everything below is inside the resort.
Most hill resorts sell you the same room three times over and change the price. We didn't build it that way. The Suite Room is a proper one-bedroom with its own living room — a 2+1 couch, a teapoy, a TV — which means a couple can sit somewhere other than the bed. The 2BHK Villa is the family answer: two bedrooms with their own bathrooms, a larger 3+1 living room, and a kitchen with a dining table so nobody has to eat off their lap. The A-Frame Loft is the one people photograph — a pitched roof, a mezzanine sleeping level above the bedroom, and the same kitchen and living arrangement below.
There are 13 Suites, 8 Villas and 5 A-Frame Lofts. The Loft prices above the Villa on purpose — it sleeps fewer people, but with only five of them and a pitched timber roof over the bed, it is the room guests come to Vagamon for. It books out first on weekends.
If you've stayed at one of our Kochi hotels, you'll know we don't serve food there — the city has better restaurants within walking distance than we could run. Vagamon has nothing within walking distance, so we built a kitchen, and breakfast comes with the room in every category. The Villa and the Loft also have kitchens of their own if you'd rather cook.
A banquet hall and a separate conference hall sit on the property. Vagamon has become a genuine destination for small weddings and company offsites, and having both halls plus rooms in three categories means one call organises the whole thing. Group and event enquiries: +91 90740 07004.
Vagamon is a few hours' drive from Kochi through the ghats — the last stretch climbs through tea and pine. Reach Travels runs air-conditioned cars with experienced drivers and can pick you up from any of our Kochi properties, the airport, or the railway station. Ask reception to arrange it when you book, or call the travel desk directly.
The Reach Vagamon is the hill property in a group that also runs Reach Residency, The Reach Hotel, Reach Inn and Reach Homes in central Kochi. Pairing a few nights in the city with a few in the hills is the trip most of our guests actually want — one number arranges both.
Check-in is after 2:00 pm and check-out is until 11:00 am.
Yes — The Reach Vagamon has its own restaurant, serving the breakfast that is included in every rate. This is the only Reach property with a kitchen of its own; our Kochi hotels do not serve food.
